SESSION 1

Hooking Up: Integrating with Factory-Provided Audio Systems

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Which interface? Keep the factory processing or get rid of it all together? What if there’s no interface available? Learn how to choose not only the proper device for integrating, but also the proper path for integrating. Great sounding, noise-free audio performance and predictable profit on billed labor depend on getting this part right and we’re going to show you how to make the right choices and implement them.

SESSION 2

Making Great Bass: Subwoofer Applications, Enclosures and Locations

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Boxes, boxes and more boxes. Sure, you have to build a good box, but making great bass is more than just a box. Learn the benefits and drawbacks of sealed, vented, infinite baffle and aperiodic applications and how to choose the right one. The location of the subwoofer is just as important as the application. “Try firing the subwoofer up! Try it firing it down! Turn it around so the wave can develop.” Don’t do the Hokey Pokey. Learn what to expect and how to predict the performance in the car before you begin cutting wood.

SESSION 3

Finishing the Job: Tuning the System

COURSE DESCRIPTION

No car audio system is finished until it’s been tuned. Whether there’s a DSP or no DSP, there’s still some important work to be done after everything is connected and working. It doesn’t have to be difficult. It doesn’t have to be confusing. You don’t have to be a competition champion to turn out cars that sound great. We’ll teach you a process you can apply to the most basic systems, the most advanced systems and all the systems in between. Oh, and we’ve chosen a world champion to help you.
