Session 1
Course Name: How to Draw In 2D CAD (Part 1)
Instructor: TBD
Course Details
Starting from Zero- Learn the pros and cons of the most popular 2D CAD software. This fundamental 2D CAD introduction gets attendees quickly up-to-speed on how to begin working a design in CAD that will be able to be saved and modified in the future as needed (such as different speaker hole opening on an adapter or revised mounting pattern). The advantage of working in CAD and exporting designs to automated machines is that commonly used parts can be reproduced easily without having to order in special parts or the time consuming process of modifying something existing. You’ll have firsthand views of starting and working with a design in the 2D CAD program so you’ll have confidence in how you approach this when back in your shop.
• Scaling and Sizing objects
• Lear Basic Shapes,
• How to use Offsets
• Trimming function
• Alignment examples
• Aspire - Vcarve
