Start with a solid foundation and learn the essential tips and tricks to quickly fabricate any component. This course is highly focused on router techniques for duplication, up and downsizing a shape for multiple layers, stacking templates for unique shapes and much more. If you’re a router table user, this course will add even more tools to your design toolbox. ​

Course Details
Learn how to create stunning installations that will amaze everyone with these essential tips on adding depth, layer, dimension, and lighting. Check out new ideas for accent lighting in multiple colors and panel layers to add dimension to your designs. See aluminum, plastics and even mesh fabrics used in creative ways as panel inserts or visual cues that tie into the vehicle interior theme. This session is full of Pro Tips throughout, including many of the important materials used in the process of fabricating these creations! This also ties in how to add even more interest using Audrino-based controls to add ‘smart’ behavior and personality to your lighting projects!

Session 3
Course Name: Layers & Lighting

Course Details
Learn how to cut, shape and polish aluminum for use in car audio installations. Also learn using steel for amp racks, subwoofer enclosure mounting, brackets and other applications to provide a safe and serviceable installation. Attachment methods and finishing processes are also presented in this important training session. ​
Session 4
Course Name: Advanced Finishes

Course Details
Learn the fundamentals of the more advanced side of the upholstery process. Basic sewing machine techniques with different seam types are presented, as well as some more advanced upholstery techniques involving leather and other materials that are part of unique and high-end interior design. This training session gives a window into what some of the most talented trimmers are doing with automotive interiors, which makes it an opportunity to see firsthand how some of these designs are executed with precision.
